The anime Tokyo Revengers was released earlier in 2021. It has received a huge positive response from the audience. Now, developers are keen to release a Tokyo Revengers game based on this action anime.

Tokyo Revengers plot

Illustrated by Ken Wakui, Tokyo Revengers has a plot of gang wars. It all starts with the protagonist Takemichi Hanagaki unintentionally creating a time paradox. He is an unemployed 26-year-old man leading a hopeless life. One day, he comes to know that the Tokyo Manji gang was responsible for killing his ex-girlfriend Hinata and her younger brother Naoto.

As a plan to kill Takemichi, someone pushes him in front of the train. Fortunately, he travels back in time. Going back exactly 12 years, he is now reliving his middle school days. In an attempt to save both Naoto and Hinata, he confides in Naoto that they will be killed. Just after revealing this information, Takemichi is teleported to the present.

Naoto is now a detective determined to save Hinata. He also finds out the Takemichi was able to travel back in time and hence creates a time paradox. During the days when he was reliving his middle school days, Takemichi gained the attention of the Tokyo Manji gang. He helped them resolved the internal conflict and prevent the death of Monjiro’s right-hand man, Draken. He then returns to the present after a few incidents. Unfortunately, he still finds out that Hinata is dead. Will he be able to save Hinata? Find out in the subsequent manga chapters.

News about the game

In the past, we have seen plenty of anime getting their video game adaptations. Some of the famous games have been Dragon Ball, One Piece, and Naruto. It will be a thrilling experience if a game is based on this anime. Following the former trends, we can concur that the news of the video game comes out within 1-2 years of the release. You can expect to hear something about the game during the mid of 2022. Even if the Tokyo Revengers game comes out, it will cover all the major platforms like PlayStation, Xbox, PC, and Android.
