Nintendo is out with another masterpiece of a game this time. TLoZ: Tears of the Kingdom saw its launch on May 12, 2023, on the Nintendo Switch platform with much fanfare and praise. The game has been receiving glowing reviews from all the major media outlets, much of it focused on how ToTK expands the world of Hyrule and the fun sandbox the devs have crafted. It was a long six-year wait for the sequel to one of the best genre-defining games to drop, but it’s finally here. There is so much to see and so many places to explore. It’s just overwhelming. Tears of the Kingdom uses a lot of the previous game’s mechanics to creatively expand on them. Like the Koroks, weapon durability, and cooking, the towers are also back. And finding them can certainly be a hassle.
The idea of unlockable towers was popularized by Ubisoft, thanks to the Assassin’s Creed games. Today, this mechanic is one of the most popular and widely used in open-world games, especially in TLoZ. In Breath of the Wild, these towers, or Sheikah towers, to be exact, were used as a way to unlock parts of the map in your Sheikah slate. Activating all the Sheikah towers in Breath of the Wild, showed the whole map, and it seems like the same goes for the towers in Tears of the Kingdom. So, where exactly are these ancient structures located? And how many are there? Let’s find out!
TLoZ: Tears of the Kingdom (ToTK) All Towers List with Coordinates
Like its predecessor, Tears of the Kingdom also has a total of fifteen unlockable towers. But they aren’t Sheikah in origin. These new structures are called Skyview Towers. Besides unlocking a portion of the Hyrule map, these are also used for the sky portion of the game. Safe to say, the Skyview Towers are a central part of the whole gameplay loop, and you would need to activate them all in order to finish the game or even just explore Hyrule and its Sky Islands.
