Developed and published by EXOR Studios, the Riftbreaker is a base-building, survival game with Action-RPG elements. This game has just released on October 14th, 2021 for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X and Series S, and Microsoft Windows. As it is a fresh game in the market, many players are having a question regarding the multiplayer mode of this game. If you also wonder that whether The Riftbreaker has a multiplayer mode or not, then continue reading this article to find out.

The Riftbreaker

The game takes you to a distant planet at the far reaches of the Milky Way Galaxy through a one-way portal. In this game, you will play the role of captain Ashley S. Nowak (The Riftbreaker), an elite scientist/commando inside a powerful Mecha-Suit. The objective of The Riftbreaker in this game is to build up a base that will allow travel back to Earth and further colonization. Coming back to the main topic, here is everything that you must know about the multiplayer mode of The Riftbreaker.

The Riftbreaker Multiplayer Mode

If we talk about the current scenario, the multiplayer mode of The Riftbreaker is not available in the game. It is a single-player game only. But, if we talk about the future roadmap of this game, or say the future plans, the developers have mentioned that, once this game is free from early-stage bugs and errors and everything goes as per the plan, they will start working on the online co-op mode. Along with it, they also mentioned that they are a small team, and the multiplayer mode is not a priority right now.

The Riftbreaker Controller Support

As this game involves making up a two-way Rift back to Earth, it requires an enormous amount of energy and also complex inventions. To complete the mission given to you, you will need to build up a complex chain of mines, refineries, powerplants, and research facilities. Therefore, online co-op mode can be very exciting to play as you can then invent the complex rift with the help of your friends. Until now, the game has received a very positive response from the players and we can, therefore, expect a multiplayer mode unlocking soon.

So, this was all about the Multiplayer mode in The Riftbreaker. If you found this article helpful, share it with your friends. You can also checkout:
