The Daedalus Stormbow deals a great deal of damage when you hit the intended target, and you can even use this weapon during boss fights throughout Hardmode. How to Get Daedalus Stormbow in Terraria?
The Daedalus Stormbow is dropped by a Mimic boss in the game, and it’s not an easy loot. Once you find and fight the boss, Hallowed Mimic, there is a 25% chance that it will drop the Daedalus Stormbow once defeated. The most convenient way to find this boss is to navigate through the Underground Hallow. However, it can take an indefinite amount of time, as it’s not guaranteed when and where the Hallowed Mimic will spawn in this area. On top of this, in the Depths of the Hallow, it can be a little tricky to defeat the boss. Thus, we suggest that you summon the boss using a Key of Light and fight it in an open space.
In order to summon the Hallowed Mimic, you’ll need a chest and a Key of Light. You can craft the Key of Light on a Work Bench if you have 15 Souls of Light. Once you have the item, simply place it inside an empty Standard chest and then close it. As soon as you close it, a Hallowed Mimic will spawn. Remember that the chest cannot contain anything else apart from the Key of Light for this to happen.
Once the Mimic spawns, you need to make sure that your movements are fast enough to dodge its attacks, as the boss is very agile. The Mimic will try to use its “Jump” ability to land on you and deal damage, so you cannot stand still during the fight. Make sure that you don’t get within close proximity of the enemy and hit it from afar instead. The Mimic will also try to use the “Dash” attack to charge at you, which you can dodge by moving in the opposite direction.
