Hello Gamers, So today TDU_World on their Twitter handle announced that their much anticipated multiplayer game mod for TDU World has gone live and is available for players to download. It was announced on the occasion of 10 anniversary of the Test drive Unlimited 2.
They also said that in near future, they will expand their services and introduce new features, but for now, they are releasing only the free roam feature which they said has been tested thoroughly by the beta testing teams.
The Tweet read “TDU World is finally here! On the 10th anniversary of Test Drive Unlimited 2, we are releasing the first version of our multiplayer mod. In the future, we will expand but for now, Free Roam is fully working after extensive testing by our beta tester team.”
For anyone who does not know the history of this game, it was released on 8th February 2011 and was developed by Eden gardens, and was published by Attari for almost every major console like Microsoft windows, PS3, Xbox 360.
The plot of the game revolves around the player’s avatar, who is offered the chance to enter a series of tournaments and progresses through the game in order to eventually become the winner of the Solar Crown by defeating the opponents.
Since its release, the game got mixed reviews but got much more limelight with the addition of multiplayer servers but they were closed in 2018 which kind of destroyed the game’s fanbase. But with this announcement, the Fan base is trying to revive the game which is getting a good response from the community which is excited about this new update.
But the game also gained its recent popularity growth due to the official announcement of TDU3 or Test Drive Unlimited Solar Crown, which is what the company is calling a spectacular game that would fuse together the fun of the original TDU with new modern game features.
GUIDE TO DOWNLOAD:
So to install the game we will give you step-by-step installation procedures to install the game.
First things first you need to download an official legit copy of TDU2, whether it is from steam or a CD Copy.
1. So for steam, You need to download the game first from steam and set your choice of the directory, and start the installation.
2. Then for the next step, we need to tell that till the time of writing this guide you may or may not have automatic updates, so we need to manually update our game.
3. Then we need you to download the file from the below-given link.
4. Then I need you to download the TDU2 Unpacker from the below link-
5. Then just simply copy update files from extracted folder build 034 to your TDU2 directory which you downloaded from steam.
6. Then from the folder told in step 4 copy the folder Euro>Shakers and then paste it on your TDU2 directory
7. Now that your game is fully manually updated, run the unpacker and choose your TDU2 directory and you would also require to make a new folder and decide where you want your file to be unpacked.
8. Then, at last, you need to head on www.Tduworld.com and download the installer, after installing run the program and you need to choose the unpacked folder of the game which you kept in a new folder as mentioned in step 7.
and you are good to go.
