Nintendo has updated Super Smash Bros. Ultimate to Version 7.0.0 adding the new character Byleth, the new stage Garreg Mach Monastery, and new Mii Fighter costumes . The Fighters Pass Vol. 2 is also available to pre-purchase priced at ¥3,300. Early purchasers will receive the Ancient Soldier Gear.

Byleth can be purchased individually for $6 USD or as part of the Fighters Pass, which runs for $25 USD / $37 AUD / £20 GBP. Picking up the Fighters Pass nets you the four other DLC characters: Banjo and Kazooie (Banjo-Kazooie), Hero (Dragon Quest), Joker (Persona 5), and Terry Bogard (Fatal Fury). Piranha Plant, which was free DLC when Ultimate first launched, is not part of the Fighters Pass and must be bought separately for $6 USD.
