Street Fighter (SF) 6: How to change Resolution

Street Fighter 6 is finally here. Released on June 1, 2023, for the Xbox Series X/S, PlayStation 4|5, and Windows platforms, this is one of the major fighting games of 2023, with NetherRealm Studios’ Mortal Kombat 1 eyeing a September 2023 launch. Street Fighter 6 is another solid title from Capcom, who have been putting out constant bangers for some time. Reviews from the major gaming media outlets have been very positive, with much of the praise going towards a solid roster of characters and gameplay. Street Fighter 6 marks the next evolution for the series and has a lot riding on it. The fifth installment of the series, Steet Fighter V, which was released back in 2016, wasn’t met with much fanfare or a positive critical response. So, it was pretty evident for Capcom that the next game needed to be great if they wanted to not lose their place in the traditional fighting game sphere to either Tekken or Mortal Kombat. The release of Street Fighter 6 has pretty much done away with that thought, though. Anyway, coming to the topic at hand, in this guide, we will share details on how you can change the in-game resolution in Street Fighter 6. Here’s everything you need to know.

When it comes to fighting games, the resolution doesn’t really matter much to most. Unlike action RPGs and open-world exploration titles, fighting games don’t have that critical demand for higher graphics. However, it’s not like players don’t prefer playing in higher resolutions. Some do, in fact. So, how do you go about changing the resolution in Street Fighter 6? Let’s find out!!

Well, changing the game’s resolution is no big deal, but players have had issues with it. Some did report that they were unable to alter the resolution setting in the game. If you encountered the same issue, simply follow the given steps.

Before trying to change the in-game resolution, you should set your Display Mode to Fullscreen. To do so, go to Multi-Menu > Options. Next, you will see seven main tabs – Game, Controls, Camera, Display, Audio, Language, and Graphics. Select Graphics to proceed further. Under the Graphics tab, choose the Basic Graphic Settings option. On the right side of the screen, you will see a myriad of sub-options, ranging from VSync to Depth of Field Effect. There, under “Internal Resolution” and above “Maximum Fram Rate”, you will find “Display Mode”. Here, select the Fullscreen option.

Now that the game is in Fullscreen mode, you can start the process of changing the resolution. It’s pretty simple, really. All you need to do is go to the Multi Menu > Options. Navigate to the Graphics tab. There you will find five sub-options – Quality, Resolution, Basic Graphic Settings, Detailed Graphics Settings, and Input Delay Reduction. For the purpose of this guide, select “Resolution”. Now, the game will present you with a list of resolution options to choose from. Select any, and confirm the changes.

We hope that this guide has helped you change the resolution in Street Fighter 6. For more guides and information on the game, don’t forget to bookmark DigiStatement.
