2024 is looking to be another exciting year for games, just like 2023 did. Tekken 8, Final Fantasy VII: Rebirth, Dragon’s Dogma 2, and Black Myth: Wukong are just some of the many exciting titles that will be released in 2024. And among these games, there is also a South Korean studio, Shift Up’s Stellar Blade. Originally scheduled for a 2023 release, Stellar Blade has now been shifted to a 2024 launch. And with that, many fans now want to know whether the game will be playable on the Steam Deck, Legion Go, and the Rog Ally.
Stellar Blade looks incredible from a visual standpoint and the combat seems quite good too. So, it’s only evident that fans would want to have the ability to play the game on-the-go. Titles like Elden Ring, Cyberpunk 2077, Doom, and Atomic Heart are already playable on these PC handhelds, so getting Stellar Blade on devices like these is something that many look forward to. As such, without much further ado, continue reading to find out all about Stellar Blade’s support info on the Steam Deck, Legion Go, and Asus Rog Ally.
Stellar Blade Steam Deck, Legion Go & Asus Rog Ally Support Details
Unfortunately, at the time of publishing this, we don’t have any direct confirmation regarding Stellar Blade being supported for the Steam Deck, the Lenovo Legion Go, or even the Rog Ally. However, we are quite confident that players will not see the game being playable on any of these devices for a long time.
It is indeed true that Stellar Balde, or Project Eve, at the time of its first announcement in 2019, was revealed to be a PS4, Xbox One, and Windows title. However, in 2021, during the September PlayStation Showcase, the game was announced as a PlayStation 5 exclusive title, with Sony serving as the publisher. And like all exclusives go, it’s safe to say that Stellar Blade will not be arriving on PCs or PC handhelds anytime soon.
Now, we don’t really know if Stellar Blade is a timed exclusive or not. But looking at all the evidence present, it doesn’t really seem so, as Shift Up or PlayStation would have announced it were it a timed exclusive game. Aside from that, all hope is not lost. While exclusives are still a major priority for Sony, the company has also been porting many of their first-party titles to PC for some time. 2018’s God of War, Marvel’s Spider-Man, and Horizon Zero Dawn are some of the most popular examples of that. However, even if Stellar Blade does get ported to PC down the line, it would be a few good years later. And that’s a big if.
For now, all that you can do is enjoy other games while waiting for any updates on Stellar Blade’s availability on Steam Deck, Legion Go, or Rog Ally.
