If you love video games, then better choose Steam. Launched in 2003 by Valve, Steam has around 150 million users. It is now one of the most important platforms in the world of PC gaming. It is that one destination where you can buy, sell and store games. You can also do other things like trade items, see demos of upcoming titles and interact with a passionate community. Steam is into gaming like Netflix and Amazon Prime Video are into TV. Steam also has a wide variety of content but the quality is different and all of them are not age-appropriate.
It is a cloud-based gaming library. One of its major features is that it lets users use any computer for playing games they purchase or download to their Steam accounts. This allows users for storing a wide collection of games without the need to use more amount of computer memory. For using Steam, you must download and install the Steam engine or app on your computer. When you do that, you can easily access the complete library of games, software, and forums.
In order to use Steam, you must be at least 13 years old. This is because the platform has communication features like open chat and community forums. Also, all the available games are not appropriate for young teens.
But recently users have reported a problem related to Steam. They have complained that their Steam wishlist is not loading. A user said that everything is working properly except the wishlist. He tried to load it on his phone with and without Wi-Fi but still, it was not working. Most of the users have reported that all they were able to see was a black screen when they used to check the wishlist. Some also said that it used to be a blank screen for a few minutes and suddenly an error appeared saying that something went wrong.
A user complained that he was not able to load his wishlist and a few minutes ago, everything was completely fine and he was able to see his items. In case if you are facing a similar type of issue, there are a few things you can try to fix by yourself –
- Apps and streaming services always face heavy traffic and maintenance work. In that case, you might not be able to access a few features. The same applies to Steam. So better try it after a few hours.
- Always check your wishlist on the web browser or desktop app. If the problem occurs with any one of them, then use the one that is not showing the issue till it gets solved on the other one.
- Don’t enable any filters and special search features on your Steam wishlist. Make sure that they are all turned off.
