Splitgate: How to tell if someone is a bot –Splitgate

Here are some of the steps on how to determine the bots in the game –

  1. First and foremost, you can determine a bot in the game by seeing if the character throws an EMP grenade. Bots do not throw EMP grenades.
  2. Next up, you can also look for the characters whether or not they follow you through portals. The bots do not simply follow you through portals.
  3. You can also see whether or not a character in a match shoots you into a portal. This is mainly because a bot never shoots into a portal until you shoot them first.
  4. Another way for you to see whether or not a character is a bot is by looking for the mic symbol. You can look for the mic symbol next to their name in the in-game scoreboard as well as in the game lobby to see if they ever use the feature.
  5. You can also determine a bot in the game by enabling your killcam. Likewise, you can go to your settings and enable your killcam to always play. This is because the killcam only shows up for actual players after you die. Therefore, the killcam does not show up for bots.
  6. Finally, you can determine whether or not a character is a bot by looking at your recent players. This is because a bot does not appear in your recent player’s history. Otherwise, you can tell a character is a real player if their name appears under recent players.
