Solium Infernum is the long-awaited remake of Cryptic Comet’s 2009 turn-based strategy game of the same name. Released on February 23, 2024, it’s been receiving pretty amazing reviews so far and has honestly turned out to be a great 4x game. The original Solium Infernum was unable to gain much attention from mainstream gaming outlets, so it’s nice to see that the remake isn’t getting the same treatment. Both new and veteran fans seem to be enjoying the game, with much praise going towards its core gameplay and multiplayer. Now, since Solium Infernum happens to be such a new release, there’s a lot about it that players don’t know about but do want to. And something that many are curious about is whether the game supports HDR, ultrawide, super ultrawide, AMD FSR 3, and DLSS.

Solium Infernum’s been described as “Civilization in Hell” and for a lot of 4x fans, that’s enough of a hook to try the game. But before that, there are a lot of players who want to know if Solium Infernum happens to have these aforementioned features. So, does the game support HDR, ultrawide, super ultrawide, AMD FSR 3, and DLSS? Well, let’s go ahead and find out if it does!!

At the time of publishing this, Solium Infernum doesn’t happen to have HDR support. And the developers are yet to share any details on when they will be adding HDR to the game. Currently, you only have two choices: try using the autohdr_force tool and see if that helps, or just wait for developers to include HDR in later updates.

Now, when it comes to ultrawide and super ultrawide, the developers have confirmed that Solium Infernum has native ultrawide support. Unfortunately, it’s unclear if you can play the game in super ultrawide too.

Solium Infernum also doesn’t support AMD FSR 3 or DLSS. In fact, there are no upscaling technologies available in the game right now. Plus, we are quite sure that the game will not be getting AMD FSR 3 anytime soon. FSR 3 is fairly new and so far, there are less than ten games that happen to have FSR 3. And while more games have been announced to get FSR 3, Solium Infernum isn’t one of them. DLSS, on the other hand, is more likely to be included later if the developers do decide to introduce upscaling technology in the game. If League of Geeks does add in either AMD FSR 3 or DLSS, we will be sure to let our readers know all about it. Till then, have fun playing planning, and scheming your way to take the Infernal Throne.

Well, that’s all the information we have on this. Additionally, you can also take a quick look here, if you are curious about similar details regarding Nightingale.
