Hollow Knight: Silksong was released for various platforms on September 4, 2025, and gained instant popularity. Whether it’s for the gameplay, graphics, or storyline, many players found themselves grinding on the game for hours. Even the Steam servers crashed because of the high inflow of players; however, the situation was handled efficiently. The game features a variety of enemies, challenges, and bosses. You’ll encounter Fourth Chorus in the Far Fields area. To reach and battle it, you’ll need the Drifter’s Cloak, which allows you to glide and survive the arena.
Defeating it will require you to use all that you have learned from your past battles and quick reaction time. It won’t be much of a hassle though, as we have got you covered with some tips in this article about defeating Fourth Chorus.
Silksong fourth chorus: How to beat and defeat it?
There are a few simple steps to follow for beating the fourth chorus:
It uses 3 attacks that are easy to detect and avoid because of the large size of the enemy. The first one is a sweep attack that it does with its lower limbs. Before it moves its limb, you will see a flash or a glowing light on your screen on the limb that’s about to move. That will be your cue to perform an evasive maneuver. You simply have to jump, and if the need arises, you can also float mid-air for a while with the help of the drifter’s cloak that inflates like a balloon.
Next will be the slam attack when the fourth chorus will slam either of its upper limbs to the floor. As with the previous attack, you will get the indication with the help of a flash. You can dodge this in time, dashing or jumping sideways. Note that whenever it slams the ground, some of the affected area of the floor will break temporarily. Therefore, you have to be careful not to step in the same area else you will take damage. The floor will regenerate after a short time, allowing you to continue your offense.
The last type of attack that it can do is to rain fireballs on your character. With its limbs mid-air, it will look like some sort of weird dance, but it actually smashes the ceiling to hit you with fireballs. They can also be dodged with a quick response, as they have a straight trajectory that’s easy to follow.
Conclusion
That’s all you’ll need to defend while going up against the fourth chorus. As for the attack part, it requires a lot of jumping. You’ll need to jump constantly to get in close range and land your attacks. As you approach the endgame, it will try to break all the floor beneath your feet. At this instant, two high-pressure steam lines originating from the floor shall appear on either side of the screen. Run over to the steam so that you can reach the ceiling with its pressure. There’s a giant boulder attached to the ceiling with explosive rock on either side. So use both the steam lines to break those explosive rocks and make the boulder fall on the fourth chorus.
