Change the Graphics Settings
For some players, this issue is being triggered as Steam Deck is struggling to support the higher graphics settings. Try the advised settings given below and see if it work for you-
- Change the resolution to 1152×720.
- Change the frame rate limit to 50 FPS or limit the Refresh Date to 50 Hz.
- Set the TDP limit to 9.
- If you want to enjoy the game in full resolution, then change the frame rate limit to 30 FPS and set the TDP limit to 8.
- You can leave the rest of the settings unchanged.
Restart Steam Deck
- Press and hold the Power button for around 10 seconds. This should force-restart your device.
- Your Steam Deck should power itself back on automatically after a forced restart. However, if that doesn’t happen, then simply press and hold the Power button once again to turn the device back on.

Verify Game Files
- Go to your Steam library on your Deck.

Update SteamOS
- Press the Steam button on your Steam Deck and open Settings.
- Go to the System tab.
- Tap on “Check for Updates” and see if there are any pending updates available.
- Select Apply to download and install the SteamOS update.
