The Japanese smartphone maker Sharp has launched a new smartphone in its hometown called Sharp S7. The smartphone is the re-branded version of the Sharp Aquos Sense 3 Lite with slight improvements.
Talking about the specifications of the smartphone, it features a 5.5-inch display with a resolution of 2160 × 1080 pixels. The company’s IGZO LCD energy-saving technology is used in the phone and the company claims that with the help of this technology, the battery can lat up to 1-week on a single charge.
The smartphone houses snapdragon 630 processor coupled with 3 GB of RAM and 32 GB of internal storage. In terms of photography, Sharp S7 comes with a single 12 Megapixel camera with f/2.0 aperture and EIS. On the front, for selfies, there is an 8 Megapixel sensor with f/2.2 aperture. Several AI features are also included in the device to enhance the camera experience.
The best part about the smartphone is that it comes with Android 10 out of the box and it is branded under Android One. It means the phone will receive security updates for at least 3 years.
The smartphone is fueled by a 4,000 mAh battery which the company claims can last up to 1 week on a single charge. The phone measures 147 × 70 × 8.9 mm and weights 167 grams. Other details about the smartphone are not clear at the moment. Details about the pricing of the phone are also not announced, yet.
