Developed and published by Gamepires, SCUM is a popular MMO that pits players against each other on an island and expects them to survive the harsh environmental hazards. Realistic gameplay is what it offers. Now that the game’s full release is live, plenty of new and returning players have joined in to try what’s new. And, there’s plenty. Anyway, after the full release went live, reports from players encountering issues in the game have also skyrocketed. One such issue is the no server list issue, where the servers that are supposed to be visible in the game’s multiplayer tab aren’t showing up for many. Due to this bug, players are unable to enjoy the multiplayer aspect of SCUM. So, how to fix it?
SCUM’s overall player base has seen a steady influx of new players trying the full release. This, while quite intriguing for the devs, given that the game is quite a few years old, posed a significant issue for them. This sudden influx of new players has strained the game’s servers and it seems that the developers weren’t ready for it. The server list not showing up issue is the result of server overload. So, is there a fix yet? Have the developers acknowledged the issue? More details on the same are shared below.

SCUM No Server List/Server List Not Appearing Issue: Is there any fix yet
Well, the developers are indeed aware of this issue and have acknowledged it. Here’s what developer Kuriisu said on the game’s Steam discussion forum:
Hey, thanks for reaching out to us and very sorry for the inconvenience. We’re aware of the issues with the server browser and are working hard on sorting the issue out properly.
So, it seems that an official fix for the same will be released soon. In the meantime, here are some workarounds worth trying:
Restart
Well, a simple workaround is to just restart the game and then check again whether the server browser displays the server list. If not, try the next workaround.
Try again at non-peak hours
As mentioned already, this issue is mainly due to server overload. So, what you can do to bypass this issue is to play the game at hours when the active concurrent players in the game are low.
Wait for official fix
Since the developers have already mentioned that they are aware of this issue, expect a fix to be released soon. As of now, we don’t know when that’s going to happen, so stay tuned for more updates on this matter.
With that said, now you know why the no server list issue in SCUM is occurring and how to fix it. We hope that you find this guide informative. If you did, consider visiting DigiStatement for more such interesting reads on all things gaming.
