In order to use blueprints, you should be able to create one first. This can only be done by the Blueprint Designer. It can be used to design your very own blueprints that have your custom factory designs. To unlock the Blueprint Designer, you need to have access to Tier Four and must unlock the FICSIT Blueprint milestone. By meeting these conditions, you will be able to build the Blueprint Designer from the Special Builder menu in the game. To craft the Blueprint Designer, you need 15x Modular Frame, 25x Cable, 100x Concrete, and 100x Steam Beam. After crafting it and designing your very own blueprint, follow the steps below to use them:

  • Go to your inventory in-game. You will come across three section heads named Builder, Customizer, and finally, Blueprints. Here, click on the Blueprints header.
  • Upon clicking on this, a new window will open containing all the blueprints you have created. Select the blueprint that you want to use.
  • The window will disappear upon selecting the desired blueprint, and you will now be able to place your custom designs. You will be able to build these blueprints continuously, as long as you have the required materials.

Well, this is how you can use your blueprints in Satisfactory to build your custom designs. It is no wonder that the introduction of blueprints has made the process of building much easier and more fun in Satisfactory. Anyway, we hope that you have found this guide helpful.
