The Samsung Galaxy S20, S20+ and S20 Ultra were launched on February 11, 2020 and now Samsung is gearing up for their successors. It is speculated that Samsung is going to announce the Galaxy S21 series in mid-January 2021. Samsung is rumoured to allow S Pen support on the S21 series. As TM Roh, President of Samsung Electronics, in a letter stated that some of the best features of the Note lineup may come to other devices.
The Galaxy S21 will have a 6.3 inch display with full HD resolution and 120hz refresh rate.The S21’s design will be similar to it’s predecessor as seen in leaked renders. It is most likely to have a plastic back, the S21+ and S21 Ultra will get metal backs. It will have a vertical camera array similar to the Note 20 series and the display will be flat instead of curved. The S21 will have a triple camera setup with a 12MP main sensor, 12MP ultra-wide and 64MP telephoto lens.
The phone will have a 4000mAh battery with Samsung’s proprietary fast charging technology. Powering the beast, at the heart will be Qualcomm’s latest Snapdragon 888 SoC.The Samsung Galaxy S21 will have 8GB RAM with 128/256GB internal storage. The phone will be running Samsung’s One UI 3.0 based on Android 11. It will be offered in four colours, Phantom Black, Phantom White, Phantom Violet and Phantom Pink.
