At the starting of year 2019, the Korean tech giant announced the new Galaxy A-series in India. The new Galaxy A-devices range from the low-end Galaxy A10 to the high variant Galaxy A90 series. Samsung updated the Galaxy series to compete with rivals like Xiaomi, which currently holds a major market share in the Indian smartphone market. Galaxy A50 is the mid-ranger A-series installment by Samsung which competes with the Xiaomi major mid-ranger and other under-20k smartphones. Well, Galaxy A50 was launched back in February 2019 with Android 9 pie on the top. And it’s been a long since the Android 10, the latest version of Android launched, but still, the Galaxy A50 users haven’t received any Android 20 based update yet.

Talking about the features of Samsung Galaxy A50. A50 features a 6.40-inch AMOLED display with a high resolution of 1080 x 2340 pixels. The device is powered by the OEM’s inhouse made Exynos 9610 SoC coupled with a 4GB RAM capacity. A50 packs a Li-ion battery with a large capacity of 4000mAh, which delivers powers easily for a day. Coming to the camera department, the device features a triple rear camera setup carrying 25MP + 5MP + 8MP sensors. Whereas for selfies, the device comes with a 25MP camera that sits inside the display notch.

Coming back to the Android 10 update status of Samsung Galaxy A50. You will happy to know that your Galaxy A50 will get the Android 10 based One UI 2.0 update along with other Samsung devices. The Korean smartphone vendor has officially released the roadmap for Android 10 update. The list includes the flagship Galaxy S-series, A-series and other mid-rangers too. The new update has started to roll-out for Galaxy S and Note series. 

Samsung Galaxy A50 Android 10 Update Release Date-

The Android 10 based One UI 2.0 update will make its way to the flagship series in the month of January and after that other Samsung, smartphone series will be getting the update. Talking specifically about the Samsung Galaxy A50 Android 10 release date, the update will start rolling out in May 2020.

Well, the new Android 10 update will roll out along with the security patch update, so, you can expect the update in the first week of May.

Samsung Galaxy A50 Android 10 Update :

Samsung Galaxy A50 recently got April security patch in some European countries, and now the Company is rolling out the Android 10 update for the device. The firmware version of the update is A505FNXXU4BTC9.

Well, currently, the update is available in Poland, Ukraine, and Uzbekistan, UAE. We hope it to arrive in other regions soon.

The Android 10 update has finally arrived in the UAE from GalaxyA50

Samsung Galaxy A50 was debuted with the One UI 1.1 based on the Android 9 Pie. So, this update with Android 10 is a major OS update, and it also comes with Samsung’s One UI 2.0.

Users of Galaxy A50 can expect features like new navigation gestures, improved dark mode, dynamic text color based on the wallpaper or screen’s background shade, smoother UI animations, and a lot more.

Note: Currently, the One UI 2.1 update for Samsung Galaxy A50 is rolling out in Poland, Ukraine, and Uzbekistan, UAE, etc. We hope it to arrive in other markets soon.
