Roblox (Xbox): How to chat

You may be disappointed to hear that the developers have removed the in-game chat feature in the Xbox version of Roblox. Even if you will try to connect a keyboard to your Xbox, you will not be able to chat with other in-game players.

In order to chat with other players in Roblox on your Xbox console, you will need to access an Internet Browser on your console. You need to open the official website of Roblox having the URL ‘www.roblox.com’. A web browser needs to be accessed since you need to access a website. You may access Microsoft Edge by going to the Apps area on your Xbox console. Microsoft Edge can be downloaded from the Windows Store if it is not already installed on your Xbox. You need to go to “www.roblox.com” once you are on the browser’s home page. Then, you will be able to see a sign-in page there. You will be able to see the input boxes where users need to enter their login information.

Log into the Roblox website and then you will be able to spot a chat bubble on the bottom right of your screen. You need to click on the bubble. After clicking, you will be able to chat with anyone from your friends list. Note that you cannot talk to anyone who is not on your friends list. Thus if you want to chat with anyone, you first need to add that person to your friends list. Another way to chat is to use the Xbox chat feature. Note that you will be able to use this feature only if your friend is also an Xbox player.

You can also use your mobile device if you want to chat with your friends. You need to download the Roblox mobile app on your mobile device first. Then after opening the app and signing into your Roblox account, you will be able to spot a chat bubble on the bottom right of the screen. You can directly click on the friend’s name with whom you want to talk to, or you can click on the chat option. If you have chosen the chat option, click on the pen and paper icon on the top right corner of the screen. Then, select the person to whom you want to send the message. Type and send the message then.
