Of course, if you use these handheld systems, you can play your favorite titles literally from anywhere. So, with every new game coming out, a common question is whether it will be supported on these devices. The situation is no different for Cyan Worlds’ Riven. Riven Steam Deck, Asus ROG Ally, & Lenovo Legion Go Support Details
Since the official release of Riven has no mention of these handheld PCs, players are worried about whether they’ll be able to play the game on these platforms or not. So, let’s see how these platforms fair in supporting Riven.
Steam Deck
Officially, Riven (2024) isn’t Steam Deck verified yet. This doesn’t necessarily mean that you can’t play the game on Valve. In fact, it is listed as a Playable title on Steam, and multiple users have actually shared their experience after running the game on Deck. And the good news: it works just fine. Steam user Semi-Pro Proletariat shared on the Steam Discussion forum that the game runs well on Steam Deck at 30 FPS and with AMD FSR 2.2. Users have also talked about a few minor issues, but overall, the game is playable on Steam Deck. For some players, like kelegorm1, the right trackpad on Deck is working out a little odd while running Riven. However, that’s most likely a personal issue, so you can go ahead and try the game on Deck.
Asus ROG Ally & Lenovo Legion Go
We don’t have any official confirmation or reports from the fans regarding the support of Riven on these two handhelds. But there’s still hope. Technically, both of these mini-PCs run on Windows. Thus, any game that supports Windows, should support these handhelds. Furthermore, the Asus ROG Ally and Lenovo Legion Go have superior hardware compared to Steam Deck. So, if the game is running on Deck, it should also run on these platforms. However, you can wait until there’s a review from someone regarding the Asus ROG Ally and Lenovo Legion Go support for Riven, or you can give it a try yourself.
Anyway, that’s all on the Steam Deck, Asus ROG Ally, and Lenovo Legion Go support details for Riven. If you enjoyed reading this article and want to read more such gaming content, keep visiting DigiStatement!
