When Realme X2 Pro Android 10 update is coming [Based on ColorOS 7]

The Chinese OEM Realme launched the Realme X2 Pro a few days back in India. The smartphone runs on Android 9 Pie based on ColorOS 6, which is an older version as both Android 10 and ColorOS 7 are already out in the market.

If you have purchased or planning to buy yourself a Realme X2 Pro smartphone and wondering when Android 10 update will arrive on the device. Don’t worry, Realme has announced the Roadmap of updating its devices to the latest Android 10.

Realme smartphones run on Color OS which is the custom operating system (Based on Android) of Oppo. Oppo has recently launched the next version of Color OS dubbed Color OS 7. Realme CEO, Madhav Sheth confirmed that Realme devices still use Color OS and will receive the latest iteration in times to come.

The Beta testers from Realme X2 Pro, Project X and realme XT ColorOS 6.7 Beta, who have proven themselves to be valuable beta testers will also be given chance to try their hands on ColorOS 7 Beta testing. The final list of the Beta testers selected will be announced on 9th December. The work on Beta testing will be conducted for approximately 2 months starting from 18th December 2019 to February 2020. Information and feedback will be collected from the ColorOS 7 Beta program to further enhance the user interface experience better.
