Realme V5 5G is getting a new August update with version A.07

It has only been a few days since the launch of the Realme V5 5G in China, and it has already received an update. It looks like Realme is wasting no time in fixing bugs and making improvements. The Realme V5 5G was launched on August 07, 2020. It has only been released in China so far and we do not know anything yet about its international availability.

It has a 6.5-inch IPS LCD display with a resolution of 1080 x 2400 with a 90Hz refresh rate. Under the hood, it packs a MediaTek Dimensity 720 5G chip. The phone can come with up to 8GB of RAM and 128GB of fast UFS 2.1 storage. At the back, it has a quad-camera setup. The primary camera is 48MP and the ultra-wide is 8MP. It also includes a 2MP macro camera and a 2MP depth sensor.

It launched with Realme UI 1.0 based on Android 10. Realme UI was the company’s attempt to clean up its software. They wanted to move away from ColorOS’s reputation of being an iOS rip-off. And with Realme UI it did manage to bring a lot of visual enhancements and performance upgrades. Overall, the new skin looked visually appealing and refined.

The latest update launched for the Realme V5 5G in China brings in several optimisations. It adds a decimal point to the charging icon on the lock screen. In the camera app, it optimizes the night scene effect of the front camera and the recording effect of the rear camera. The vibration experience of the return button and home button has also been improved. The sound experience while gaming has also been improved. You can read the complete changelog and precautions provided by Realme below.

Precautions:

1. After the phone has just been updated, some of the installed applications in the phone need to be adapted and optimized in the background.
