Realme 8 & Realme 8 Pro Release Date, Specifications & more

From Realme 1 to Realme 7, the Chinese OEM has come a long way. Realme is constantly updating its devices to give its users a better experience than the last device. Realme quickly realizes the need of users and tries to give users what they want. Realme is surely following its motto “Dare to Leap” where it has the guts to provide a full-fledged device at a way cheaper price than other OEMs. Now, we are giving you the information about the much-anticipated, Realme 8 series.

Realme 8 Series Software:

The next smartphone in the series, the Realme 8 is expected to come with RealmeUI 2.0, which will be based on Android 11. Speaking of Android 11, it has some interesting features including NFC file transfer, Chat bubble, battery and storage enhancements, and an Enhanced Do Not Disturb Mode.

Adding to it, RealmeUI 2.0 features an improved dark mode with three different styles and each comes with adjustments to wallpapers and icon packs.

In order to offer a better viewing experience, the auto-brightness feature has also been optimized in Realme UI 2.0. Realme has also enhanced the Night Charging feature in the latest version of Realme UI. With this technology, an AI algorithm optimizes the charging speed at night and improves battery life. So, with Android 11 & custom skin Realme UI 2.0 on top, Realme 8 series will surely be interesting . Well, without further ado, let us have a look at the Realme 8 Series assumed specifcations.

Realme 8 Series Hardware Specs:

If the rumors are to be believed, we might see an amazing In-Display camera in the upcoming Realme series. The Realme 8 series is expected to come with a side-mounted fingerprint scanner. Realme 8 series may possess a Type-C cable, 3.5mm headphone jack, and a noise cancellation mic.

Talking of the performance, this Realme 8 Pro is expected to come with Qualcomm Snapdragon 768G, with LPDDR4X RAM and UFS 3.1 storage.

As far as the cameras are concerned, we may see a penta-cam setup at the back, with a 108MP primary camera, a 20 ultra-wide lens, an 8MP telephoto lens, a 5MP microlens, and a 2MP depth-sensing camera. And as mentioned earlier, we are getting a 44MP In-display front camera for selfies.

The display might be a 6.7″ full HD+ Super AMOLED full view display with a refresh rate of 120Hz.

Talking about the battery, we can get a whopping 5000 mAh battery with a 65W super dart fast charging or even a 120W charging.

Realme 8 Series Release Date:

Looking at the track record of Realme, it usually launches a new number series device in March and September every year. So, we expect Realme 8 series to release in March/April 2021. Realme 8 may be launched for 17,000 – 20,000 INR whereas the Pro version will be priced around 20,000 – 25,000 INR next year.
