- Next, click on Properties from the context menu, and then go to the Spatial Sound tab.
- If the option is set to Windows Sonic Headphones, turn it off and then launch the game.
Disable Voicemeeter and Oculus
- Type Control Panel in your Windows search box and open the first option.
- Click on Hardware & Sound, and then open the Sound option.
- If you find Oculus or Voicemeeter running under the Playback tab, right-click on the device and select Disable.
- Go to the Recording tab and disable the devices in this section as well.
- Next, right-click on your Start menu and go to Device Manager.
- Locate the “Sound, video and game controllers” option and click on it.
- Here, apart from the audio device you’re using, right-click on all the other audio devices and select the Disable device option.
- Then, launch the game and see if the issue persists.
Disconnect your controller and other peripherals
If you’re using a controller to play the game, we suggest that you disconnect it before launching the game. Once the game starts, and if you find the audio is working properly, you can connect the controller back again. Also, try to disconnect all the other peripherals while you’re playing the game to prevent this error.
Update audio driver
- Right-click on the Start menu and click on Device Manager.
- Go to the “Sound, video and game controllers” option.
- Locate the audio device that you’re using and right-click on it.
- From the context menu, select Update Driver.
- Then, click on the “Search automatically for drivers” option.
- Windows will now search for possible updates of the audio driver and install them.
- After the drivers are updated, launch the game and see if the issue persists.
Reinstall the game
Lastly, if you’re still getting the no sound error in Ratchet & Clank Rift Apart, then try to uninstall and reinstall the game. If you had the game installed on an HDD, then try reinstalling it on an SSD device now. This should fix the no-sound error.
