The sequel to 2018’s Railway Empire was finally released on May 25th, 2023. Developed by Gaming Minds Studios and published by Kalypso Media, the game is now available on all major platforms except the Switch. Don’t worry, though. A Nintendo Switch version will be released on June 22, 2023. In the sequel, you get a five-chapter campaign, fourteen different scenarios, 269 cities, 60 locomotives, co-op with up to four players, and more. Furthermore, Railway Empire 2 features five game modes – Campaign, Scenarios, Custom, Sandbox, and Multiplayer. Well, the reception around the game ranges from mild to negative. All of this is mostly due to the game not being good enough compared to its predecessor and the general issues that players are facing.
