Although the cause behind this error is currently unknown, many are speculating that it occurs due to issues at Microsoft’s end. If you didn’t know, the same issue occurred in the game about two years ago. However, it was later fixed by the official team. But, since its return in 2023, this issue does not have any official fixes, but you can try the following potential workarounds and check if any of them work for you.

Pressing the A button on your controller repeatedly:

Players of the game have shared their experiences of how they surpassed the “Not Authorized by Your Platform” error by just repeatedly pressing the command button ‘A’ on their controllers while in-game. A Reddit user named u/therealglassceiling posted on Reddit seeking answers for solving this error. Fellow members of the community came forward and shared their experience of how they entered the game by just pressing the ‘A’ command button on their Xbox controller repeatedly. It is not expert advice, but it is worth trying.

Restart your Xbox Console

One of the most common solutions to a lot of console errors is to just restart it. Proceed to restart your Xbox console and try to re-enter the game. Chances are, the issue should be fixed.

Check Internet Connectivity

Players who have poor internet connectivity will face this issue as well. It is therefore recommended that you check the quality of your internet connection. Try restarting your internet source and checking if this solves your issue. A stable internet connection will lead to a seamless, error-free gaming experience.

Check the Xbox Live server status

If the Xbox Live services are down due to server maintenance or any other reason, you will surely get this error. So, you should check the status of the Xbox Live services to be sure that it is a server-related issue. If the servers are indeed down, you need to wait until they are online again.

These are the potential workarounds for the “Not Authorized by Your Platform” error in PUBG that has been encountered by many on Xbox consoles. If all of the steps mentioned above fail to work, you can contact the official PUBG support team. If not, you need to just be patient and wait until the servers allow you in. For many, the error got fixed automatically, and players were able to get back into the action, although a bit late. So, maybe waiting is all you need to do.
