Predecessor Error p-2030

If you’ve been riddled with the error code p-2030 in the game, unfortunately, we have no official fix for this yet. However, there are a few workarounds that you can try in this regard.

Check System Requirements

If you just got your hands on Predecessor and started facing the error right away, it can be because your device doesn’t meet the system requirements to run the game. If your device doesn’t meet the requirements, you won’t be able to run the game properly. Here are the game’s minimum and recommended system requirements:

Minimum:

  • OS: Windows 10 Home 64 Bit
  • Processor: Intel® Core™ i5-4590 or similar
  • Memory: 8 GB RAM
  • Graphics: NVIDIA GeForce GT 1030 2GB or AMD Radeon RX 550 equivalent
  • DirectX: Version 11
  • Network: Broadband Internet connection
  • Storage: 14 GB available space
  • Sound Card: DirectX Compatible
  • Additional Notes: Needs 8GB RAM available for the game

Recommended:

  • OS: Windows 11 Home 64 Bit
  • Processor: Intel® Core™ i5-11600 or similar
  • Memory: 12 GB RAM
  • Graphics: Nvidia GTX 1660 Ti 6GB or AMD Radeon RX 5600 XT equivalent
  • DirectX: Version 11
  • Network: Broadband Internet connection
  • Storage: 20 GB available space
  • Sound Card: DirectX Compatible
  • Additional Notes: Needs 8GB RAM available for the game

Update Your Game

When players receive the p-2030 error in the game, it’s typically because they’re using an outdated version. To make sure that your game runs smoothly, update the game first. You can do so by visiting the Steam page for Predecessor. Once the game is updated, run it again. See if you can now play it without facing the error.

Check the Server Status

If you continue to face the error even though you just updated your game, it can be because of a server issue. If the game servers face too much load or are under maintenance, it may trigger errors like these. You can get the necessary updates on the server status of Predecessor on their Discord channel or official X handle.

Verify the Integrity of Game Files

If the game is updated and servers are online, but you are still encountering the issue, then it could be that the error is being triggered by missing or corrupt game files. Here’s how to verify the game file integrity via Steam:

  • Go to Steam and select Library.
  • Locate Predecessor and right-click on the game.
  • Go to Properties and open Installed Files.
  • Select the “Verify integrity of game files” option.
  • Let the process complete and then run the game. See if the issue persists.

Check for Corrupted Save Files

If the error occurs right after you try to load a specific save file, it can be that the particular save file is corrupted. Erase that specific save file and try to run the game. See if the issue persists.

Reinstall the Game

If nothing fixes the issue for you, the last resort is to perform a reinstallation. Uninstall the game first and install it again. Try to install it on a different SSD drive this time to see if that works.

Contact Support

If you continue facing the error even after reinstallation, you need to contact the developers for a fix. Get in touch with Predecessor support and see if they can help you out with the issue.

Well, that’s all we have on how to fix the Predecessor error p-2030. Hopefully, we were successful in helping you out with the problem. If you found this guide insightful and informative, keep visiting DigiStatement for more such gaming content and information!
