There are also different levels of effectiveness of these Water-type moves. Water-type moves are best effective against Fire, Ground, and Rock-type pokemon, so make sure to keep water-type pokemon in your arsenal when fighting such pokemon types. 1) Hydro Cannon –

This is a special Water-type move that has a power of 150, an accuracy of 90, and a PP of 5. Likewise, it is a move that makes the user unable to use the attack in the next turn. This move targets a single opponent. Quaquaval is a Pokemon that learns this move by TM.

2) Wave Crash –

Wave Crash is a physical move that has a power of 120, an accuracy of 100, and a PP of 10. It is a move that also damages the user as it uses its whole body to attack. Likewise, this move targets a single opponent. Quaquaval, Dondozo, Palafin, Paldean Tauros, Buizel, Floatzel, Basculin, and Bruxish are Pokemon that learn this move by leveling up.

3) Hydro Pump –

This is a special Water-type move that has a power of 110, an accuracy of 80, and a PP of 5. Likewise, this move doesn’t affect its user when used. It targets a single opponent. Cloyster is a Pokemon that learns this move by default, and there are many water-type pokemon including Palafin and Vaporeon that learn this move by leveling up.

4) Crabhammer –

Crabhammer is a physical Water-type move that has a power of 100, an accuracy of 90, and a PP of 10. This move increases the critical hit ratio for 1 stage. It targets a single opponent. Clauncher, Clawitzer, and Crabrawler learn this move by leveling up.

5) Aqua Tail –

This is a physical Water-type move that has a power of 90, an accuracy of 90, and a PP of 10. Likewise, this move has no additional effect on its user. It targets a single opponent. Goodra is a Pokemon that learns this move by evolution, but there are other pokemon that can learn this move via leveling up including Palafin, and Whiscash.
