The upcoming expansion pack of the Pokémon Trading Card Game will be released on November 14, 2025. It goes by the name Mega Evolution- Phantasmal Flames and will come after the release of the base Mega Evolution set on October 10. Pre-orders will begin soon on various retail sites, and the products may include the Elite trainer box as well as a Mega Charizard X ex Ultra-Premium Collection. The exact list of cards has not yet been officially revealed; however, some names have been confirmed. This includes the Mega Charizard X ex, Mega Gengar ex, Mega Lopunny ex, Megaheracross ex, Mega Diancie ex, and Mega Sharpedo ex.
The set will have more than 120 cards that include 10 trainer cards, 6 Mega Evolution Pokémon EX ex and 4 Pokémon EX. There will also be more than 15 Pokémon and trainer cards with special illustrations and 13 illustration rare Pokémon. 5 special illustration rare mega evolution pokemon ex and supporter cards will be present. Apart from this, 17 ultra-rare mega evolution Pokémon EX trainer, and energy cards will be there. Overall, new mega evolution Pokémon EX cards will be added, the majority of which will be fire and darkness type.
