Pokemon Go has been used to receive mixed reviews from critics. We know that there is not any game that has zero bugs. Pokemon Go has had a hard time fixing nominal bugs. One of these bugs is ‘Not Updating Pokemon Go’. In this article, we are going to talk about this issue only and help you find the solution for this issue. So, here is everything you need to know.

Not Updating Issue

Pokemon Go is reported to be facing an issue that players are not able to update. Whenever the players are trying to update Pokemon Go, the game crashes. The players are asked to update the game when they are trying to log in to their accounts. When they tap on “Update”, Pokemon go crashes. Firstly, you must check that whether your Play Store or App Store is showing an available update. If it is showing that an update is available, then update it from there only. But, if it is not showing anything, then, the update must be a small in-game update. To fix this issue, you must follow the methods mentioned below.

  1. Reboot your Mobile.
  2. Force Stop Pokemon Go. Now, Clear Cache and Clear Data from Storage Settings. After clearing the data and cache, go to Play Store or App Store and update Pokemon Go.
  3. Re-install Pokemon Go.

These methods are based on cleaning the Pokemon Go app on your devices. Cleaning the app can remove several bugs that occur on the player’s end. If you are not able to fix this issue, you must contact Niantic Support.

Enjoy Gaming!!
