Well, credit for the success of the game goes to Niantic as they kept introducing interesting in-game events & features for players.
Well, one such introduction was Pokemon GO Battle League. Season 6 of the game is currently live & players are working hard to stay on the top of leaderboards. Devs have also enlisted some more details regarding the season 6 of Pokemon GO Battle League on the official blog page.
According to it, The Great League went live on Monday, January 11, 2021, at 1:00 p.m. & will stay live until Monday, January 25, 2021, at 1:00 p.m. PST (GMT −8). Whereas, The Ultra League and its Premier Cup went live from Monday, January 25, 2021, at 1:00 p.m. & will stay live until Monday, February 8, 2021, at 1:00 p.m. PST. Well, they are not wrong as Niantic has taken the route of Twitter & has confirmed that the game is currently going through some server issues & GO Battle League is currently unavailable.
Trainers, we are currently investigating ongoing server issues in Pokémon GO. In the meantime, GO Battle League is unavailable. We will update here when we have more information, thanks for understanding. #GOBattle
