Ark: Survival Evolved, Studio Wildcard’s debut title, is finally closing off its network and official servers later this year, in August 2023. Compared to some, the Phiomia is a standard creature in Ark: Survival Evolved. These creatures can be found in most biomes in the game. However, you can find them most often in the swamps. So, if you are unable to locate any, just open your map and head straight for the swamps. You can also find them on Herbivore Island.
The Phiomia is an herbivore and is pretty skittish when it comes to temperament. Now, coming to the topic of domesticability, it can be ridden, tamed, and bred too. While it can be used for riding, we really don’t recommend doing so since it’s a poor choice. Honestly, there are way better choices out there.
These creatures aren’t high-maintenance like others. Players can just feed them Basic Kibble, Crops, Mejoberries, Vegetables, and Other Berries. Although we do recommend that you tame one only when you have a berry-gathering animal, Why? Because the Phiomia’s metabolism is extremely fast and feeding it can be a tough challenge for newer and lower-level players.
