The June 11, 2023, Xbox Showcase was nothing short of amazing. And was certainly far better than what we got in the latest PlayStation Showcase held on May 24, 2023. The Xbox Showcase was especially grand for Payday fans since they finally got to see more of Payday 3. The upcoming third installment of the Payday series is all set to release later this year on September 21 for the Xbox Series X/S, PlayStation 5, and PC platforms. Now that players already know about the game’s release date, there has been quite a bit of curiosity over the editions available for it, the pre-order bonuses, and their prices.
Game studios offer different editions of their games so as to drive more sales and interest. Different kinds of editions offer different kinds of rewards for players. Depending on the edition a player bought, the studio will offer them some exclusive rewards and, in some cases, even “early access” to the game. So, what kind of editions do we have for Payday 3? Payday 3 Editions, Pre-Order Bonus, Price, & More
At the time of writing, there are a total of five editions of Payday 3 that you can choose to pre-order. These are as follows:
Standard Edition –
The Standard Edition is digital only. Buyers will get the base game and a Trifecta Loot Bag as a pre-order bonus. You can buy this edition for $39.99.
Silver Edition –
The Silver Edition has all the benefits of the Standard Edition. Plus, a Dark Sterling Mask, three-day early access to the game, and a six-month Season Pass, which includes two new heists, Tailor Packs, and Weapon Packs. $69.99 is the selling price of the Silver Edition of Payday 3.
Gold Edition –
As usual, the Gold Edition has everything that the Silver Edition comes with. Besides that, you will receive Golden State Gloves and a Skull of Liberty Mask after purchasing it. You will also get the Season Pass (1 Year) which will include four new heists, Tailor Packs, and Weapon Packs. Fans will need to cough up $89.99 if they want to get the Gold Edition.
Day One Edition –
The Day One Edition is the same as the Standard Edition, with one difference. This is a Physical edition, unlike the Standard one, which is Digital only. Even the price match, as the Day One Edition retails for $39.99.
Collector’s Edition –
And of course, no game edition is complete without a Collector’s Edition. This edition is also physical only and doesn’t come with three-day early access. But besides that, it’s got all the bonus rewards, including the Season Pass (1 Year). Furthermore, buyers will get a Dark Sterling Mask, Golden State Gloves, Skull of Liberty Mask, and a Solidius Mask after purchasing this edition. As expected, the Collector’s Edition is the priciest of the bunch with $129.99 as its retail price. Additional rewards (Physical) include:
- The Collector’s Mask
- Custom Deck of Cards
- Stickers
- Membership Letter to the Collector’s Club
