Palworld Private or Dedicated servers: Are they available?

Pokemon has remained a juggernaut in the monster-catching genre even after more than two and a half decades since the first Pokemon game. And over the years, fans of the genre have seen countless new and unique games make their debut. The most recent one happens to be the upcoming game, Palworld by Pocket Pair. Scheduled for a January 19, 2024 release, it’s a monster-taming meets survival and crafting game where you will get to build, farm, fight, and even work alongside the monsters called – Pals. Suffice it to say, there’s a lot of hype around it. And with a release date just on the horizon, fans seem to be curious about a number of things. A major one happens to be whether the game has private or dedicated servers.

Unlike most monster-taming games, this one is more of a multiplayer-oriented one, akin to the likes of Temtem. So, it’s only evident that players would want to know whether a game like this will come with private or dedicated servers. While official servers are great, many prefer playing on a private server, one where they can customize rules and such. And having a private or dedicated server is, of course, a must-have feature for many. So, without much further ado, let’s go ahead and find out all about this topic.

Palworld Private or Dedicated servers: Are they available?

Palworld Private or Dedicated Servers: Are they available?

Yes, players can indeed host their own Private or Dedicated servers in Palworld. A dedicated server has the capacity to host up to 32 players in total, and the developers have even stated that they will be providing tools to create these servers at launch. Besides that, third-party server hosting services are already up for pre-order too. If you want, you can head here to pre-order your own dedicated server for Palworld. Survival Servers currently has about seven hosting locations, all of which are mentioned below:

  • Seattle
  • Los Angeles
  • Seattle
  • New York
  • France
  • Germany
  • Singapore

Currently, Survival Servers seems to be the only third-party service that’s offering dedicated server hosting, so for now, you will have to make do with them only. But if you don’t like that, then you can just wait for the game to launch and then use the official tools provided by the developers to create your own dedicated server. Furthermore, for players going with Survival Servers, note that you will need a pretty good internet connection if you happen to be in Asia since there’s only one Asia-specific server right now. So, keep that in mind.

All in all, what you just need to do is wait for the game to release on January 19, 2024. Come 19th, you will be able to either use the developer-provided tools to host your own dedicated server or just use one of the third-party services.

And that’s all the information we have on this topic. Additionally, if you want to know more about what different types of pals are in-game, visit here. Lastly, for more such content, keep following DigiStatement. Also read: Palworld Steam Deck, Asus Rog Ally & Lenovo Legion Go Support details
