Sometimes, an additional change in the system settings can also improve the user experience.

  1. Open up Sound Settings from the taskbar or the Windows Search bar.
  2. Under the Output and Input sounds, make sure to set it to the primary device that you are using.
  3. Under the Manage devices, you can test the headphones to check for the sound quality.
  4. The option to disable the device is also available in case you feel like it.
  5. Under Advanced sound settings, you can assign an output and input device for each application.

Many a time, the issue can also be due to outdated drivers. Follow the steps to install the latest version of audio drivers on your computer.

  1. Open up the device manager.
  2. Expand the list under Audio drivers.
  3. Right-click on the output device and select update drivers.
  4. Select automatic search option for latest drivers.
  5. Give it a few minutes to check.
  6. Now, install the updates if available.

These tips will undoubtedly solve the OSU audio issues that you have been facing. Unfortunately, if the problem continues, then most likely, your hardware is at fault. Consider buying a new headphone or use a different one to be sure.
