The Chinese consumer electronics and mobile communications company, Oppo is not productive when it comes to rolling out timely Android OS updates. In fact, the company is still having problem in launching Android 10 updates to some of its devices in Q2 2020.
Oppo launched its custom OS ColorOS 11 with the OPPO Find X2 series and Oppo Reno Ace 2 is the second series smartphone to receive the official version update of ColorOS 11 in China. According to the reports, the company has started rolling out the official version update for ColorOS 11 on Oppo Reno Ace2 devices.
The new ColorOS 11 comes with Customizable Dark mode, Always-on-Display (AOD), Customizable wallpapers, Gamer mode, Three-finger translation, and many other customizations. It is no doubt one of the most efficient, highly-customizable and nicely-designed Android-based OS.
Talking about Oppo Reno Ace 2, it is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 Octa-core chipset with ColorOS 7.0 running on Android 10. It comes with 6.5 inches big AMOLED display with screen resolution of 1080×2400 pixels protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 6. With 48 MP + 8MP + 2MP +2MP quad camera setup at the rear, the phone looks absolute class. The device support Super VOOC fast charge as well as wireless charging and is backed by 4000 mAh non-removable battery.
The exact date is still unknown but you can expect the rollout anytime soon. Before upgrading to the official version of ColorOS 11, the users of Reno Ace 2 need to firstly upgrade the system version A.24. Have a look down below and follow the steps: –
- Open the Settings on your device.
- Click on Software update.
- Select the “Upgrade early adopters” option
- Sign up by giving required information and confirm the privacy policy. After confirming, select “Apply Now”.
- Now you can download the new ColorOS 11 official version on your device.
The official update will be OTA update and will be pushed randomly. So, users do not need to worry as it will be available to everyone in few days.
