OnePlus launched the Y series televisions on 2nd of July 2020, in two sizes, 32 inches and 43 inches. They are priced at 13,999 INR and.23,999 INR respectively. Both the televisions have FHD resolution with OnePlus’s Gamma Engine which produces real life like image quality.
The televisions have a sleek bezel-less design with the 32″ model having screen to body ratio of 91.4% and 43″ model having screen to body ratio of 88.5%. the Y series televisions have powerful and clear 20W speakers on the front which provide an immersive experience. Both the televisions are Smart TV’s with Android 9.0 built-in.
Both the TV’s have Google Play Store pre-installed which helps the user download thousands of apps ang games available for Android TVs. For casting your phone’s screen, the Y series also has Google’s Chromecast built-in so the user can share their phone’s display instantly on the big screen. Both the television are compatible Amazon Alexa out of the box.
The OnePlus Q and U series televisions have been getting updated to the latest features with OTA6 and a lot of people are waiting for the OTA3 for the Y series. The company posted on their forum that the Y series will receive the OTA3 within December 2020.

Updates to Chromecast:-
Improved Chromecast stability while casting from phone to TV.
