One Punch Man: World is the upcoming title by Perfect World Games and Crunchyroll Games. It’s a multi-platform title, one that’s going to be released on Windows, Android, and iOS. Unlike previous One Punch Man games, this one has been getting a lot of traction lately, and for a good reason. From what we have seen so far, OPM: World seems to be a really high-quality title, one that can be compared to the likes of Hoyerverse’s Honkai Star Rail and the recently released Black Clover M. With so much hype around the game, it is only evident that players would want to know every possible detail about it. And a major one happens to be the subject of crossplay and cross-progression.
For the uninitiated, crossplay refers to the feature that allows players to play a game with different players from different platforms. Cross-progression, on the other hand, is about the ability to play a game on one platform and continue your progression on another platform. As you can see, it’s something that many players would be particularly interested in. This way, players don’t have to start a new game whenever playing the game on a new platform. Plus, you also get to play OPM: World with more players. So, continue reading and find out all about One Punch Man: World’s Crossplay and Cross-Progression details.
One Punch Man World Crossplay & Cross Progression details
You will be delighted to know that One Punch Man: World indeed features crossplay and cross-progression. This has been officially confirmed.
As we stated before, One Punch Man: World will be available for both Windows and mobile, so it would be a lot of fun to play the game on both platforms with players and enjoy it with friends. OPM: World already had a cross-platform closed beta and the reception around that was particularly positive.
As per the latest Launch Date announcement trailer, the game is slated to release on January 31, 2024, and the hype around it is increasing a lot. All previous One Punch-related games, be it on consoles, PCs, or mobile devices, haven’t been great at all. One Punch Man: A Hero Nobody Knows by Spike Chunisoft was a decent fighting RPG but nothing at the level of titles like Dragon Ball FighterZ or Guilty Gear Strive. Then One Punch Man: Road to Hero was just like most other anime mobile cash grabs. So, it’s only evident that One Punch Man: World will be getting so much hype from fans. For now, all we’ve got to do is wait for its release.
