Titled as “Oden’s Return,” One Piece Chapter 968 is now officially available online on Mangaplus. Now, fans are eagerly waiting for chapter 969 in which we are likely to see a Yonko level war between Oden and Kaido.
In chapter 968, we saw Roger announcing the disbandment of Roger Pirates because they were become well known for finding One Piece, and other pirates group were chasing them. Roger wanted to spend his last phase of life alone, so he left the group and went to meet Whitebeard. The chapter didn’t show their meeting. We may see them meeting in the next chapter.
After biding a farewell to Roger, Oden returned to Wano, where he met his family and retainers. He was wondering why everyone was not angry at him because of his doings. It turned out that Toki managed everything well by telling his exciting stories to the people of Kuri.
But then the real problem started to come out when Oden was informed about that his father had appointed Orochi as regent while he was away. In his absence, Orochi put factories in each village, and villagers were forced to work there at cheap income. When Oden asked why everybody listened to him, then Oden was told about Kaido, who was backing Orochi.
“A man called Kaido has been backing him,” one of Oden’s subordinates narrated. “And that strength, indeed he is worthy of being called a monster.”
Oden was also told how Kaido came to Kuri for murdering Momonosuke, but lady Toki saved him and got injured in the process. After seeing an arrow’s wound on Toki’s leg, Oden left for flower capital in rage and met Orochi. Orochi pleaded to him and said If you cut me down, Kaido won’t stay quiet.”

The next chapter of One Piece is going to more interesting. Currently, no spoilers have been out online, Kaido will likely save Orochi from Oden. That’s why Orochi is still alive.
Upon confronting, Kaido will ask Oden about One Piece, but the latter will refuse to say anything and launch an attack.
So, in the next chapter, we will see a Yonko level war between Oden and Kaido, where Oden will fight with his full strength for the first time. We already know that this will be his last fight, but it will be amazing to watch.
