One Piece Chapter 1012 Recap
Nine Scabbards
The chapter begins with Nine Scabbards running toward the third floor to help Momonosuke. Izou asks Kiku about her wounds on her arm. Kiku questions how he can ask a samurai about that and says that her wounds will only heal with her life fading away. She further expresses that her heart ached when Izo left Wano to follow Oden. Meanwhile, Kawamatsu asks Izo about what will become of Wano if they open it to the world. Izo replies that they should focus on surviving the battle until morning.
Kine’mon suggests splitting up and reinforce others while he finds Momonosuke and protects him alone. Kiku asks Kine’mon to give her permission to kill Kanjuro for sure this time. Kine’mon agrees and asks her to follow him. Meanwhile, Nekomamushi encounters Mink Shishilian and Bariete and finds that Pedro is dead and the killer is fighting against Carrot and Wanda on the island. He flies towards his whereabouts to join Carrot and others.
1st Floor
Momonosuke, Yamato, Shinobu reach the 1st-floor attic where Yamato decides to act as bait and asks Shinobu to take care of Momonusuke. Yamato asks Momo about the situation on the top. Momonosuke says that Luffy is doing fine, and there are only two voices on the top. Yamato figures out that now it has come one to one fight, and she has to hurry. When she lefts, Momonosuke opens Oden’s journal and seems curious.
2nd Floor
On the other hand, Sanji is seen on the second floor fighting his way towards Momonosuke while carrying a huge cross wrapped with bandages. A little flashback tells about the incident regarding the cross. Before the current situation, Law and Zoro landed upon Sanji from the top. Law told Sanji to take care of Zoro, who had broken his 20-30 bones as he is going after rampaging Big Mom. The next panel shows Sanji asks Zoro about the cause of his injury, to which Zoro replies that he fought against Kaido and Big Mom. When Sanji asks about Luffy, Zoro says that Luffy is going to win. Coming to the current time, Kappa runs into Sanji, who is going to check Momonosuke. Kappa informs him about Kine’mon doing that job. Zoro tells them to go to the live floor if they want to become useful and sleeps again.
On the same floor, Big Mom stands against the defeated Page One. Seeing page one crushed into the floor, Ulti gets furious and attacks Big Mom. Nami blames Ulti for Big Mom’s anger. Big Mom tells Nami to shut up for a while and comments that she will kill her next after Ulti. Then Nami tries to get Ulti on her side by provoking her, but she shut her up and knockdown Komachiyo with a headbutt. When Tama asks her to stop killing Komachiyo, Ulti slaps her. Seeing this, Nami unleashes a thunderbolt to knock Ulti down. Ussop asks Nami about running, but she refuses and replies how she can run away after seeing someone raising her hand on a child. She swears to beat Ulti to a pulp.

Oden’s Journal
We saw Momonosuke reading the journal that Oden wrote while traveling across the world. In the next chapter, we may get to know more about that journal. Since Oden used to write everything about his journey, Momonosuke may find something about Kaido and probably about Laugh Tale.
Nami vs. Ulti
The last panel of chapter 1012 is enough to explain that we will see Nami in action against Ulti. Big Mom is also there, but she may decide to watch the fight from the sideline. Since Zeus is also coming towards Big Mom, we may see it going by Nami’s side in the fight against Ulti.
Sanji and others
We will see Kappa, Sanji, and Zoro on the live floor soon where Marco and chopper are fighting against King and Queen. This may also set a base for the much-awaited fight of King vs. Zoro and Sanji vs. Queen, but before that, the chopper will treat Zoro, and Marco will hold both enemies.
Kiku vs. Kanjuro
There is a huge possibility that the next chapter will show Kiku vs. Kanjuro so that Kiku finally gets revenge for betraying Scabbards.
Apart from these, we may see some glimpse from the whereabouts of the Jinbe, Robin, and others. Hawkins will likely change sides while fighting against the killer and join the alliance to take down Kaido and Big Mom.
