Nokia is now ready to join the Android 11 race to provide the latest Android features and updates to its users as fast as possible.
All the Nokia smartphones are a part of the Android One program that guarantees two years of OS updates and three years of security updates, which is also one of the features of the Google Pixel line.
As per the latest official tweet by HMD Global, we can see the Android 11 for Nokia 9 PureView in the second quarter of 2021. However, the tweet was later deleted but, the news is very likely to be true.
Android 11 gives a new refined interaction with UI, screenshots scrolling, and combining, better screen recording with internal audio capture and better one-handed mode are some other features that Android users are expecting. In addition to it, we get NFC file transfer, Chat bubble, Dark Mode, Battery and storage enhancements, and an Enhanced Do Not Disturb Mode.

HMD Global launched the Nokia 9 PureView on 25th February 2019. It comes with a 5.99″ touchscreen display and is powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 processor and a large 6GB RAM to prevent lagging. The device boasts 5 camera setup and each comes with 12MP clarity. All of these cameras, work simultaneously(5*12) to give the best picture. Out of these, 5 cameras, there are 2 RGB cameras and 3 Black&White cameras, all work at a time.
HMD Global is yet to give any new official information on why they deleted the tweet and what are their plans for rolling out Android 11 to the devices. So, we have to wait for an official statement, to get a clearer view of what is going on.
