Tom Fulp’s creation, NewGrounds Website is currently down due to an unfavorable situation. Here’s everything you need to know.

Newgrounds.com hosts some of the most creative and unique games created by various users. It is an entertainment website that allows users to host their own games/content. It features a ton of new content in four categories namely- Gaming, Movies, Audio, and Art. Founded in 1995, it has been one of the best entertainment websites out there. The user-generated content is rated by visitors and is ranked accordingly on the website.
If you are a Friday Night Funkin fan, you have definitely heard about this website as the game is hosted on it. However, recent tragedy has Newgrounds downed to its knees.

The OVH Datacenter in Europe recently was caught in a fire which led to serious data losses for numerous websites and businesses including Newgrounds.com. @TomFulp has tweeted about this unfortunate event stating the reason for the website’s downtime. Many NG fans are worried about the incident and want to know if everything’s alright.
Heads up, a datacenter belonging to our host was lost in a fire last night. No one was hurt and it's not the facility where NG is hosted (we also have backups), however it appears to be having a larger impact on our host this morning and NG is currently down.

Fortunately, it was revealed that no one was hurt. It has been clarified that this wasn’t the data center where Newgrounds.com is hosted so, no major issue is caused. However, anyone who has hosted their content in that datacenter will be facing permanent loss. So, if they didn’t have a backup, this might be a disaster for them.
We'll be ok, things will just be out of our control for a bit. Feel bad for anyone who was hosted in that datacenter and didn't have backups – basically any website's worst nightmare.

Well, the good news is that NG will be back in a few days as things are a little bit out of control for now but will stabilize soon. So, if you are waiting to upload your new song or a new game, hold tight and hang on just a little bit more as NG will be right back up on its feet in no time.
