It’s been over a decade since we have had a new Death Note manga chapter. The manga ended in 2006, but we got some manga-related content in the form of one-shot in February 2008.
Last year, a heartful announcement made fans cry. It was announced that after 12 years, a new Death Note Chapter one-shot chapter would run in Shueisha’s Jump SQ magazine.
In February issue of Jump SQ released today, it was announced that the 87 page Death Note one-shot is going to published in the next issue which is scheduled to be on sale on February 4.

The one-shot features Ryuk’s Death Note falling once again to the Earth after the events of the original manga. The chapter also gets a coloured centre page with a prominent visual on the cover of the Jump SQ.
Death Note anime aired in 2006-07 and is currently available on Crunchyroll. Its live-action adaption was aired in 2015 and also available on Crunchyroll.
