The BR craze seems to have subsided a whole lot, with extraction shooters replacing it as the new hyped genre. However, established BR titles like Apex Legends and Fortnite continue to enjoy a healthy player base, with devs dropping new content regularly. Besides these, developer 24 Entertainment’s Naraka: Bladepoint is also another successful BR title. Released back in 2021, the game is regularly on Steam’s Top Games list and even saw a 24-hour peak of 266,013 players at the time of publishing this (data sourced from Steam Charts). The game just recently got a brand new update, which introduced another hero called Shayol Wei and also added in a bunch of exciting events and features. Thanks to that, a stream of new players has been joining in on the fun. But it seems like many of them want to know whether the game supports modding, HDR, ultrawide, super ultrawide, AMD FSR 3, and DLSS.
Not all games tend to fully support features like these, so it’s always a good idea to know all about them beforehand. Nobody wants to purchase a game, hoping they will later play it with mods, only to find out that the game doesn’t support modding. So, what’s the case with Naraka: Bladepoint? Can you play it with mods, HDR, ultrawide, super ultrawide, AMD FSR 3, and DLSS? Well, let’s go ahead and find out!!
Naraka Bladepoint Mod, HDR, Ultrawide (21:9), Super Ultrawide (32:9), AMD FSR 3 & DLSS Support Details
Naraka: Bladepoint does indeed support HDR but there’s a caveat to it. You see, HDR in the game only works if you’ve got DirectX 12. Without it, you will not be able to turn on HDR. While the game certainly looks visually appealing in HDR, it unfortunately has a great impact on fps. Players have been complaining about poor DirectX12 optimization, but developer 24 Entertainment has yet to work on that. So, if you have DirectX 12, then you can go ahead and use HDR. But be ready to see major FPS dips.
Now, when it comes to mods, there’s, of course, no official mod support for the game. But while there might be no official mod support, some have been using performance-related mods like dlssg-to-fg3. However, beware that using mods when there’s no official mod support can lead to a ban if caught. Now, while you might not be able to play the game with mods, what you can absolutely do is enjoy both ultrawide and super ultrawide.
And at last, we come to AMD FSR3 and DLSS. Well, currently there’s no AMD FSR 3 support, but there is for DLSS. Although Naraka: Bladepoint might not have AMD FSR3 currently, it does have FSR2. If the game does get FSR3 support in the future, we will be sure to let our readers know all about it. Until then, enjoy playing Naraka: Bladepoint.
