League of Legends and Team Fight Tactics Incoming Pricing Changes

Every year Riot changes the basic pricing on everything assessed on the global changes in inflation, taxation and economic condition. Usually, these changes happen once a year during March or April but due to global pandemic Covid-19, these changes were delayed.

This post is a notification reminder so players can make a decision to purchase RP now before the changes happen. Riot is also going to run an Extra Bonus RP promotion from July 1 to July 15, so if you want to stock up purchase it now. Below we elucidate on all the changes that are expected to hit League of Legends and Team Fight Tactics.

RP price changes

• LATAM- Due to the current world situation, many countries have employed new taxation laws and bumped up prices. Specifically, digital goods price changes impact the cost of RP for the upcoming year.

-Mexico: +19% (VAT Portion: 16%)

-Colombia: +11%

-Costa Rica: +16% (VAT Portion: 13%)

-Chile: +16% (VAT Portion: 19%)

-Uruguay:+ 11%

-Peru: +5%

-USD LATAM: 5.5%

• Brazil – 9% bump up in RP costs

Extra Bonus RP

A 100% Increase to the bonus RP you get from buying a big stock of RP. The promotion is available from July 1, 1:00 PM PDT to July 15, 1:00 PM PDT.

Team Fight Tactics Mobile Pricing Changes

There are a few countries where the pricing will decrease by about 20% accounting for the discrepancies in the market. The following regions will have a decrease in the prices.

• Europe
• UAE
• Egypt
• Japan (Individual Little Legend Eggs only)

The following regions will see an increase in the price of about 20% accounting for all the economic discrepancies.

• Mexico
• Colombia
• Costa Rica
• Chile
• Peru

The following regions will see a decrease in the price of the 10+1 Little Legend Egg Bundle making it closer to the price of 10 Little Legend eggs.
