The idea behind KH-HD 1.5+2.5 ReMIX is actually a great one. For the fans of the series, this is one kind of remastered experience of the classics. However, the good news isn’t for everyone. Many players use AMD GPUs to run games, and that’s where the problem starts with this game. The game isn’t working properly on several AMD GPUs. So, is there any fix yet?
Now, according to sunilg, a developer profile on Steam, several Kingdom Hearts titles from Kingdom Hearts-HD 1.5+2.5 ReMIX have fallen susceptible to this issue. According to them, there are three titles that aren’t working properly on AMD GPUs. These are – Kingdom Hearts Final MIX, Kingdom Hearts II Final MIX, Kingdom Hearts Birth by Sleep Final MIX. Furthermore, the developers have also announced the AMD GPUs that are affected by the issue. So, there are two affected GPUs: AMD Radeon RX 7800 XT and AMD Radeon RX 7900 XT.
However, other AMD GPUs can face such issues as well, as players reported encountering the same. For instance, Steam user Lugel claimed that they’re facing the issue while running the game on a system with an AMD Radeon RX 6750 XT as well.
As for an official fix for the problem, we think that it’ll be announced soon. The developers explained that they’re presently determining a timeline for a potential fix for the issue. However, until the fix is available, there isn’t much that you can do at your end.
