The political deadlock of the Zhao kingdom came to an end in chapter 647. Prince Sen finally defeating his brother KA to cement his place as the king. Kingdom Chapter 647 Discussion and Recap
The last chapter brought about a totally different dynamic to the Kingdom’s story. Zhao’s political arc is finally put behind us as Ka gets sidelined by Prince Sen turning into King Sen of Zhao. The chapter starts with Riboku plotting his gameplay. He summons his vassals Futei, Kaine, and others to formulate a plan. Banaji is shown with a busted right away confirming the damage done in the duel against Mouten.
Riboku then gets three options, to run away, to face punishment, or to overthrow King Sen. Riboku quickly decides against the third option as a King established through force would never gain people’s trust. The looming threat of Qin with the commencement of King Sen still left makes the situation even trickier. Riboku then decides to head to Shibashou’s Seika and convince them to join their cause. They plan to amass a force to fend of Qin from Kantan and gain Zhao’s trust in turn avoiding persecution.
The next panel shows a one-year time skip. Qin has been unable to advance into Zhao territory. There is a planning council happening inside Zhao to discuss further course of actions. Master Shi explains to Sei about the internal conflict that plagues Zhao. Ryo Fui has been slowly, steadily grabbing support and increasing power & he needs to be dealt with first. Master Shi suggests assassinating Ryo Fui but Sei decides against it. He wants to talk to Ryo & settle matters.
Kingdom Chapter 648 Release Date
Kingdom Chapter 648 release date is set at 16, July 2020. There is no delay in the issue and we are likely to see it on shelves on the 16th. There will be a hiatus that will be coming after this chapter due to the Olympics. We will elucidate on that later. Who is Dying in Kingdom Chapter 648? Major Spoilers Ahead!
In Kanyou, Master Shi and Shoubunkun decide to send some troops with Sei to meet Ryo Fui in Kanan unknowing that he has already left last night.
In Kanan, Ryo Fui and Sei have a meeting. Sei looks tired from the invasion of Gyou. Ryo Fui remarks that coming here was a risk, if people found out the King will be in big trouble. Sei confronts Ryo Fui saying that he already was defeated by him. Sei asks him about the meaning of amassing forces. Ryo Fui comments on the King’s soft heart and naive attitude. There is a lot of back and forth conversation about defeat & the future. Ryo Fui tells him that he isn’t behind the amassing of people, it is because of the King’s mistake.
Ryo Fui remarks that it will be wise to heed Master Shi’s advice and have himself assassinated. Another main point is when Ryo Fui asks Sei if still thinks human nature is light, Sei just nods. At this queue, Ryo Fui hugs Sei and assures the King to leave Kanan under him. Ryo tells him that he will regret not seeing the world the King makes in the future.
A month later in Kanyou-
Kanan keeps gathering more people even after Sei returned to Kanyou. The court starts discussing how to handle the situation when they get the news of Ryo Fui. Ryo Fui is dead. Reports suggest that he drank poison and passed away.
many predicted this after last chapter that Ryofui is not plotting against Sei but collecting all those people against him within Qin to quickly get rid of so that he can fully focus on uniting china . Another arc of Ryofui being the antagonist just wouldnt have made sense since he had a great arc already. Source- u/AsnSensation
