Are you among those who have downloaded the fan-favourite kiddion’s Mod but aren’t able to solve the “unable to find offsets (23)” Problem?. It can be really annoying to have a mod installed in the system and still not be able to use it due to an internal error. Well, the good news for you is that there are some clear cut methods to overcome this issue and enjoy the Mod.
The easiest way to solve this problem is to use the latest version of the mod menu. This error usually occurs when there is a new update in GTA V and the latest version isn’t installed in the system.
Here are some steps that can be followed to remove the error and enable smooth functioning of the mod:-
STEP 1-> First open a browser and ensure that you have a decent internet connection to ensure quick and smooth downloading of the latest version of the mod menu.
STEP 2-> Create an account on unknowncheats, so that you will be able to access and download the latest version of the Mod menu.
STEP 3-> Go to the downloads section of the website and scroll down until you find GTA 5.
STEP 4 -> Click on GTA 5 when you find it and a new page will open where you can see the different mods and their available download links. Locate the latest version of the Mod menu (which is 0.8.10, as of 27th December 2020) and click on it.
STEP 5-> A new page will open, showing the details and specifications of the file containing the Mod menu and there will be a download button on the right side of the table containing the details. Click on the download button.
STEP 6->When the file is downloading, go to the downloads section in chrome and make sure that the download progress of the file is being displayed, because chrome sometimes deletes mod files due to the possibility of there being a virus in them.
STEP 7->After the download, chrome will ask you whether to “Remove from list” or to “keep dangerous file”. Click on “keep dangerous file”(the file is completely safe, don’t worry). Also, before you click on “keep dangerous file” make sure you have turned off windows defender or the real-time virus scanning option of any other anti-virus software you may be using.
STEP 8->To open the downloaded file, locate the file and extract it using WinRar.
STEP 9->After you’re done opening the file, extract It to your desktop or to any other location where you can locate your Mod menu.
STEP 10->Turn the real-time virus protection of windows defender or any other anti-virus software you use back on.The Mod menu file poses no threat to your system but it is always good to have real-time virus scanning turned on.
It is to be noted that if you’re using the older version of the game (version 1.52 or below) you need to download the older versions of the Mod menu but if you’re using the latest version of the game,download version 0.8.10 of the Mod menu.
