2024 is looking to be yet another equally exciting year for games, just like 2023 was. From Unicorn Overlord to Dragon’s Dogma II, there are a lot of highly anticipated releases this year. And among these games also happens to be developer Furyu Corporation’s upcoming urban action RPG, Reynatis. Originally announced in the Japan version of the Nintendo Direct Partner Showcase, publisher NIS America just recently announced that the game will also be heading to other platforms like the PlayStation 4 & 5, and PC. But now, a lot of fans want to know when the game will be released on Xbox platforms.
When the game was first announced in the Japanese version of Partner Direct, many thought that Reynatis was a Japan-only title and exclusive to the Nintendo Switch. But NIS America finally cleared the air on its release after NIS America released an announcement trailer on March 2, 2024. And one thing that seems to be common in all announcements so far is that there’s no mention of an Xbox launch. This has led to many fans asking when the game will be released for the Xbox Series X/S and Xbox One. So, let’s find out.
Is there a Reynatis Xbox Series X/S & Xbox One Release Date?
At the time of publishing this, there’s no Reynatis release date for both Xbox Series X/S and Xbox One. This is quite unfortunate and disappointing news since a lot of fans were hoping that they would get to play the game on Xbox platforms too. As we stated before, currently Reynatis has only been confirmed for a PC, PS4, PS5, and Nintendo Switch release, which happens to be in the Fall of 2024. And from the looks of it, it seems like Xbox will not be getting a Reynatis release anytime soon.
Neither the developer Furyu Corporation nor the publisher NIS America have shared any details or made any announcements related to Reynatis coming to the Xbox platform. Besides that, historically speaking, the Xbox platform has always been one of the least prioritized platforms for Japanese devs. While that has changed somewhat over the past few years, Nintendo and PlayStation remain the go-to choices in the console market for such titles. So, could this have played a part in Reynatis not coming to Xbox platforms? Maybe. Maybe not. The fact of the matter is that Reynatis isn’t going to arrive anytime soon on the Xbox consoles. So, if you want to enjoy it, you will choose other supported platforms.
Now, it could also be that the developers will release an Xbox port after the Fall 2024 release. And even if that’s the case, fans will need to wait a long time to play it on the Xbox platform. However, if we do get any more information on this, we will be sure to update our readers on it.
