Developer Holmgard Games just recently announced their debut title, Project L.3.3.T. The game happens to be a first-person PvEvP tactical extraction shooter akin to titles like Escape From Tarkov and Hunt: Showdown. The game’s scheduled to get an alpha playtest this March, and fans are pretty excited about it. But another thing that players are excited about is Project L.3.3.T’s console release.
Battle Royales are out and Extraction Shooters seem to have now taken their place as the latest hyped genre. From Level Infinite’s Exoborne to Sony’s Marathon, everybody is trying their best to capture a genre that continues to be dominated by Escape from Tarkov. And Holmgard Games is also one of the many studios intending to do that. While a PC release of Project L.3.3.T is confirmed, many fans want to know when they will be able to play the game on PS4, PS5, Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One, & Nintendo Switch. So, let’s go ahead and find out.
Is there a Project L.3.3.T game PS4, PS5, Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One & Nintendo Switch Release Date
At the time of publishing this, developer Holmgard Games hasn’t made any announcements regarding Project L.3.3.T’s console launch. And it’s unlikely that console fans will get their hands on the game anytime soon. Currently, the game’s only confirmed for a PC release, so if you want to enjoy the game, better do it on PC instead of waiting for a console port.
Now, a fan did ask whether Project L.3.3.T will be coming to consoles or not in the official Discord server. And the following is what they got in reply:
“probably yes, but that’s not 2025 and probably not 2026”
So, while there’s a probable chance that Project L.3.3.T will be on consoles, it’s going to take a very long time. Even then, there’s always a chance that Holmgard will decide not to invest developmental time in a console port. Game development is a volatile endeavor, and things can change pretty fast depending on player feedback and reception to the game.
One more thing: even if we do get an official console port, it’s more than likely that the Nintendo Switch isn’t going to get the game. The same could also be said about both the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, as most developers seem to prefer releasing their games on much more capable hardware, like the PS5 and the Xbox Series X/S. But in the end, this is just speculation on our part, so take this with a huge grain of salt. If we do get any other major information on Project L.3.3.T’s console release, we will be sure to let our readers know all about it.
